The Archbishop Wood Girls Basketball program has experienced tremendous success over the years due in large part to its challenging tournament and showcase schedule. These tests against top-ranked players and teams throughout the region and nation help prepare the Vikings for the post-season and expose them to the best competition available.
Wood's schedule is noted throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area as the most difficult around - we play anyone, anywhere, anytime - because it's not about the numbers in the win-loss column. It's about the numbers on the scoreboard in late February and March. Wood Girls Basketball has played in 15 of the last 18 PCL Championships and played in 5 State Championships in a row, winning 4.
